Bus Ministry: Three bus routes that target different areas of the Sarasota community bring in both children (4-years-old and up) and adults for Sunday School and the morning service After each rider is picked up at their door and the children are escorted by the bus captain and bus helpers to their classroom at church Each exciting week is highlighted by a special bus promotion and program while riding to and from church All riders are visited by their bus captains every Saturday morning Children's Church: Program during the Sunday morning service for children 4-years-old through the sixth grade Weekly activities include: Gospel Illusion, Missionary Story, Puppet Show, Singing, Bible Story, and Games Master Club Ministry: Wednesday night program for boys and girls that includes game time, council time, and handbook time Purpose: To evangelize children, discipling them for spiritual growth, teaching and training them to serve Jesus Christ, and providing multiple opportunities to do so in and through the local church Music Ministry: Traditional, Christ-centered Various ensembles, in addition to a magnificent choir Uplifting and stirring congregational singing to help prepare hearts for the preaching of God's Word Nursery: Provided for all services for infants up to 3-year-old children Well staffed by caring adult ladies who watch over the children in a clean and bright environment A pager is provided to contact the parent if necessary Soulwinning/Visitation: Purpose: To make contacts one-on-one in order to lead people to Christ, extend an invitation to the services, answers questions about the church, and encourage those who are unable to attend the services Men, women and families meet every Saturday morning for a time of prayer before making visits to shut-ins, the hospitalized, visitors, or canvassing the Sarasota area Sunday School: In depth study of a variety subjects or books of the Bible Classes are available for 2-year-olds through Sr. Adult Adult classes are in both small and large group formats Teens: TNT (Teens iN Training) - active Wednesday night program with the goal to assure that each teen gains the assurance of their salvation, grow in their knowledge of the Word of God, grow in their love for the Lord and His work, grow in their usefulness and ability to serve Him with the desired result to produce mature Christian youth capable of doing the work of the ministry Participate in special activities at least once a month Our teens at LBC are actively involved in all aspects of the church ministry Purpose: To train young people to live in a society that knows not God. Therefore, our programs for youth are all Bible centered with a thrust on discipleship.
