When you visit Liberty you we feel like you've been to a friendly,  old fashioned, gospel preaching church. We still sing traditional hymns and use the King James Bible.  It is our desire that you feel at home the minute you walk through our doors.  So come visit us this week!

To know how you can be sure you are going to Heaven

please scroll to the bottom of this page!!

1. How do I find the church?

4249 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota, FL 34232

Liberty Baptist Church is located at the corner of Bahia Vista Street and McIntosh Road.  We are approximately one mile south of the intersection at Fruitville Road and McIntosh Road.

2. When do you have services?

Sunday School – 9:30am
Sunday Morning Worship – 10:30am
Sunday Evening – 5:30pm

Wednesday Bible Study, Youth4Truth and AWANA or Kids Club – 7:00pm

3. What should I expect on Sunday Morning?

Liberty Baptist Church is a friendly family of Believers. We love our Lord and we love people. As you enter our building, you will be met with a smile by one of our greeters. Please feel free to take an information packet from our Welcome Center. Ushers are available to help you find a seat in the sanctuary.

In our worship services we sing the great songs of the Faith. We have special music by our members for every service. Our “worship style” would be considered traditional. The center-point of our service is the preaching of the Word of God by one of our Pastors or a guest preacher. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the doctrines of God’s Word are preached in the power of the Spirit of God.

The sermon will conclude with an “Invitation” giving an opportunity for listeners to come forward for a few moments of prayer, seek spiritual direction, become a Christian or join our church.  Simply step from your seat into the aisle and make your way to the front, where you will be greeted by one of our counselors.

4. What’s here for my kids on Sunday?

There are safe, clean, and well staffed nurseries for children 2 years old and younger for all our services. Children (ages 3 to 11) go to graded Sunday School Classes at 9:30am and during the Main Service (10:30am) we dismiss them before the preaching to enjoy a special service that is designed just for them, we call it "Junior Church." On Sunday Night (5:30pm) the children will be excited to attend Patch Club, which is a Bible and Music Club. The Patch Club sings in Church once a month.  Kids Club runs during the summer months.

5. How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Liberty Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Liberty!

6. Am I expected to participate in the offering?

Our invitation for you to come to Liberty Baptist Church is not for your offering. We truly want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find a warm friendly spirit and a place where you can grow in God’s Grace. We know that the Truth of God's Word will speak to your heart.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the church office at (941) 371-8239 or email us at office@lbcsarasota.com.

THE BIBLE TELLS US HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN

It is as simple as A-B-C

ADMITTING  you are a sinner and in need of a Savior:

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"   - Romans 3:23

BELIEVING  Jesus Christ died for your sins:  "For when we were yet without strength, in due                       time Christ died for the ungodly." Romans 5:6

And Jesus rose from the dead:  "He is not here: for He is risen as He said.                             Come see the place where the Lord lay."  Matthew 28:6

CONFESSING  or receiving Jesus into your life by faith and trusting Him as your Savior:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine                 heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."  Romans 10:9

PRAY  and ask Jesus to save you from Hell and give you a home in Heaven.

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner bound for Hell and that YOU are the only way to Heaven. I believe you died on the cross (for me) to pay the price for all my sin and that you rose from the dead as stated in the Bible. I now invite you into my life as my personal Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen!
