Here is a little taste of what to expect when you visit Liberty Baptist Church. When you come, you will feel like you have been to an old-fashioned, gospel preaching church. We sing hymns and use the King James Bible. It is our sincere desire that you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. We look forward to seeing you soon!

How Can I Find LBC?

Liberty is at 4249 Bahia Vista Street at McIntosh Road in Sarasota. It is approximately one mile south of the intersection of Fruitville and McIntosh.

When Are the Services?

Sunday School: 9:00 am

Morning Worship: 10:00 am

Sunday Evening: 5:00 pm

Wednesday Evening: 7:00 pm

Wednesday evenings include kids4Truth (1-6 grades) and Youth4Truth (7-12 grades)

What Can I Expect at a Worship Service?

When you visit, our greeters will greet you with a smile, and you can pick up an information packet at our Welcome Center. Ushers will help you find a seat in our worship service.

Although congregational singing and special music a part of every service, the main focus is on preaching the Word of God by one of our pastors or a guest preacher, emphasizing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible in the power of the Holy Spirit.

At the end of the sermon, there's an "invitation" where you can come forward for prayer, seek spiritual guidance, become a Christian, or join our church. Just step into the aisle and head to the front, where one of our counselors will greet you.

What is Available for My Children?

Nursery (2 years and under): clean, caring and well staffed nursery is available for all services

Sunday School (3 years - 12th grade): There are classes broken down by age group

Jr Church (ages 3-11): Children start off in the auditorium and are then dismissed before the preaching for an age appropriate message

Patch the Pirate: Sunday evenings the children will be dismissed for Patch the Pirate Club which included a Bible lesson and singing. The Patch kids sing monthly in the service. (In the summer months Kids Club is held.)

How Should I Dress?

There is no dress code for members or guests at Liberty Baptist Church. Our ministry leaders and many of the church family members dress in a more traditional Sunday dress; however, our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit to Liberty!

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

Our invitation for you to come to Liberty Baptist Church is NOT for your offering. In fact, we want to our service to be a gift to you! We hope you find a warm and friendly spirit and a place where you can grow in God's grace. We know the TRUTH of God's Word will speak to your heart.
